After we have optimised recommendations, we run a detailed stress test to understand the net benefit of your advice.  

The stress test is performed by isolating each recommendation. We do this by running an alternative model for each recommendation generated, whereby that recommendation is either blocked or a suitable alternative recommendation is considered. 

This enables us to isolate the net benefit of each recommendation and leverage the data to formulate custom best interest statements for your SOA. 

The recommendation is assessed against a ‘best interest’ scorecard. This looks at any advantage the recommendation has generated across fees, tax, social security, net equity, reduction in volatility, & product features. 

We also assess the recommendation against our objectives scorecard to see if the client’s ability to meet their stated objectives has reduced with the isolated recommendation not available. 

The outcome is a comprehensive stress test that ensures you have a clear audit trail as to why your advice improves the client's position.
